We have been…
Catching lady bugs
Learning to whittle
Fishing in the Gulf
And nursing orphaned kittens
The poor things didn’t last long, though, and they gave one of our adult cats an eye infection, even though we never allowed him near them. He’s fine now, but we probably wouldn’t try fostering again…don’t tell Marie that, though.
Our homeschool group’s Kids’ Marketplace–William sold firestarters, seeds he has propagated, and Texas honey (generously donated by Grandma and Mr. Jim 🙂 ).
Teddy turned 2!
Big sibs were perhaps even more eager to dig into the toddler toys than he was!
More summer fun…
Canoeing down the Brazos River
Building bridges at Papa’s science & engineering summer camp
Indulging in the sweetest of sweetness
And having our last hurrah on Labor Day!
We’ve been back-to-homeschool for two weeks now but following a pretty light schedule. I handed William a printout of our full routine to start next week and he groaned, “Oh, I knew this was coming!”
But it was a great summer.
